Since August 3, due to the epidemic of Delta strains in the United States, immigration (border) measures in the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) have changed based on the guidelines of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
On July 28th, it was said that people who had been vaccinated once would be exempt from the PCR test when they arrived at the airport if they had the appropriate official certificate. HOT Festival Tinian Hot Pepper Festival!
This is a rare "chili pepper festival" held on Tinian Island, where the Tinian pepper, which is said to be the hottest in the world, is grown.
There are also food stalls using chili peppers and a chili pepper eating contest!
A ferry will be operated between Saipan and Tinian in conjunction with the event.
