さらに、PCR検査へのアクセスが可能であることも渡航の条件ですが、検査は自己負担でUSドルで一回$250～300と高額です。

ハワイ州では、3月26日（木）から州外からの到着者全員に対して到着後の14日間の自己隔離措置を施行しています。当初、事前スクリーニング検査により免除するプランを8月1日から開始するとしていましたが、米本土のコロナ感染拡大を受け、9月1日に延期しました。

今回の日本政府の発表により、9月に予定通りハワイ観光が再開され、日本からの直航便が運航されるようになれば、日本とハワイ間の往来が可能になるのもそう遠くないという見方もでてきました。
