[Carnival in Rio 2021 canceled]
On January 21, the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro announced that the 2021 Rio Carnival was scheduled to be canceled in July.
We tried to postpone the event from February to July, but we decided to cancel it because we think that it is impossible to hold the parade to ensure the safety of all (participants / spectators) by July.
It was the first "cancellation" in carnival history. .. ..

Rio de Janeiro was on a carnival vacation without a parade.
The occupancy rate of the hotel was about half of the average year, there were few tourists, and there was no parade, so the atmosphere was quiet, but the weather was fine and I was able to spend a relaxing time.

Unfortunately, this year's carnival has been canceled, but we usually hold public practice every Saturday about four months before the actual performance to showcase the results of our daily practice.
The funds obtained from the admission fee, food and drink charges in the venue, sales of goods, etc. will be important funds for the team's activities, so you will naturally get into the practice and show the dance and performance just like the actual performance!
If you want to come to the carnival but can't, don't worry, there are places in Rio where you can enjoy the carnival atmosphere outside of the actual time!
