In Hawaii, where Mauna Loa erupted until last week, there are many places where lava rocks have been created over the years.
I went to one of them, Koko Head Crater Arch.

It's the season for monk seals to come visit Hanauma Bay.
It's a little surprising to see monk seals, an endangered species endemic to Hawaii, in the sea, but they're cute when they're swimming or taking a nap.
