In August, Spain, where the number of infected people is increasing, as in Japan. Even if the social distance is maintained, it is compulsory to wear a mask in public spaces, and with the rapid increase in the number of infected people, preventive measures and regulations are becoming stricter. The other day, I went to a cute town called Chinchon, which is about 45 minutes drive from the city of Madrid. Sometimes it was a weekend, so there were relatively many people, and most cafes were open. The disinfectant solution for the hands was placed in the place where all the cafes could understand, and many people were wearing masks and chatting when not eating or drinking. Although there are few foreign tourists, I often see people visiting from Madrid or taking a leisurely coffee break to enjoy the holiday season.
The warning statement was lifted on June 21, and we entered a "new everyday" across Spain. Up until now, the easing policy was gradually regaining everyday life, but as soon as it was lifted, it was a sunny day in Madrid with strong sunlight and temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. Interstate movement was also allowed, and people began to move in earnest. After using the subway for a long time, we found corona countermeasures at the foot of the platform and everywhere on the premises. Masks are mandatory for public transport (fines are required) and social distances are also encouraged. Some of the passages inside the station are marked so that they are one-way. There are no restrictions on seats or spaces in the car, but it feels like a certain distance from nature. In the future, each state will take its own corona countermeasures, but finally the declaration of caution has been lifted and there are bright signs.
