On October 9th, we held a one-day sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon.
The customers this time were two parents and children living in New York and three family members stationed in the United States, for a total of five people.
For us Japanese, the Grand Canyon is one of America's leading tourist destinations, and it's a popular spot that is one of the top three places to visit (where you want to see) when you come to the United States, so you want to visit it once no matter where you live in the United States. I think most people think.
But surprisingly, more than half of the Americans around me in Las Vegas have never been to the Grand Canyon. Why is there a Grand Canyon so close? I think.
One of my neighbors has lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years and asks, "I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but what kind of place?"
Perhaps I've been in a travel job for many years, so I was naturally interested in tourist attractions all over the United States and went to many of them, but when I lived without much interest in travel, it was like the Grand Canyon. Even if the place is nearby, it may be meaningless to them.
Even so, I think that many Americans have changed their lifestyles due to the influence of this corona and enjoyed the nature around them, and because it is difficult to travel abroad, many Americans have turned their attention to tourist destinations in the United States.
Due to such demand, the tourist destinations of the Grand Canyon and the Grand Circle have become record busy this year. Even though the peak of the tourist season has already passed, the Grand Canyon was very crowded with three consecutive holidays this weekend.
A full-day tour of the Grand Canyon was held on May 29th and 30th.
The guests on the 29th were a family of four stationed in New York, a couple stationed in Chicago, and a total of eight men and women studying abroad in Los Angeles.
The guests on the 30th were a family of three stationed in New York and a couple studying abroad in San Diego, for a total of five people.
Everyone came to the Grand Canyon for a trip during the holidays of Memorial Day.
We were able to guide the tour as planned without the expected heavy congestion during the consecutive holidays.
It may be that the soaring price of gasoline makes it difficult to go out in your own car.
On May 28th and 29th, we held a one-night, two-day Grand Circle tour.
There were a total of four guests, a couple residing in Houston and a couple residing in Michigan.
We had you participate in the trip of the Grand Circle using the consecutive holidays of Memorial Day in the United States.
Although there are differences depending on the region, most areas in the United States will be in full swing from Memorial Day to summer vacation. For people living in the United States, this summer vacation is likely to continue to focus on travel within the United States.
After all, summer is the season for national parks, so it seems that the tourist spots in the Grand Circle will be crowded for a while.
A two-day, one-night Grand Circle tour was held on May 24th and 25th.
The customers were two men and women who came to travel from Japan.
The number of customers traveling from Japan is increasing little by little, but it is often the case that mixed-ride tours are still reserved like this time.
It's a tough situation for us to organize the tour, but I think we're very lucky for the customers who participate in the tour.
