In British Columbia, where Vancouver is located, the BC Vaccine Card, which certifies vaccination against the new coronavirus, was introduced on September 13.
All people over the age of 12 born in 2009 or earlier need a BC Vaccine Card to access the following non-essential services:
◎ Restaurants with servers (indoors and outdoors)
◎ Pubs and bars (indoors and outdoors)
◎ Nightclub ◎ Casino ◎ Movie theater ◎ Paid sports event ◎ Indoor concert, theater, dance event ◎ Indoor leisure class (painting, ceramics, chorus, etc.)
◎ Indoor events for more than 50 people (weddings, parties, meetings, workshops, etc.)
◎ Fitness center, gym, pool ◎ Indoor recreation facility ◎ Indoor team sports for people over 19 years old ◎ Student dormitory on university campus

BC Vaccine Cards are not required in the following locations:
◎ Stores that are indispensable for daily life such as grocery stores and pharmacies ◎ Fast food stores, cafeterias, food courts, drive-throughs ◎ Cafes without servers ◎ Take-out of restaurants ◎ Liquor stores ◎ Hair salons ◎ Retail stores ◎ Public transportation ◎ Banks ◎ Library ◎ Chapel ◎ Election voting place ◎ Hospital ◎ Government agency ◎ Indoor team sports under 18 years old ◎ Kindergarten ~ 12 years old school children childcare, school events, activities ◎ Indoor events for 49 people or less (weddings, parties, meetings, Workshop etc.)
Vaccine certification is also needed in other states.
