From June 15, the Mont Saint Michel Abbey is open to the public. It is mandatory to wear a mask on the island and in the monastery. The island's one-way streets have been lifted, and many souvenir shops and restaurants have resumed operations, regaining their liveliness as before. From July, further restaurants and hotels are expected to resume operations.
We are developing a new tour that takes into account the reservation system of the monastery and the shuttle bus with a limited number of passengers. With a Japanese assistant/guide, we will make a tour that you can enjoy sightseeing with peace of mind.
Mont Saint Michel is crowded with many tourists, especially locals. The monastery remains closed to the public, but souvenir shops and some takeaway stores have resumed operations. The tidal flat tour will be resumed, and more tourists are expected to visit for the summer.
