Situation with epidemic is getting better and there are less infected last few days. The measures that are on force haven`t changed and there is still obligatory to wear a mask in closed facilities and in public transportation, to keep a physical distance of 1.5 - 2 m, ban on gathering more then 10 people indoors.
It was rather cloudy and rainy last week, and a wet southerly wind was blowing.
As a result, the sea was a little rough, but the children during the summer vacation were still playing.
Due to the fragile weather, the traffic was reduced, but everyone was still enjoying the coffee at the outdoor seats of the cafe.
Although there are various restrictions on COVID-19, we are trying to do as much as possible by holding various events outdoors.
Since a film festival using the ancient Roman amphitheater is now held, we were preparing for TV coverage such as TV station early in the morning, and at the park there was a book fair and events for children in the park. Is being done.
Although the number of summer vacation tourists has declined, many people still enjoy sunbathing and swimming on the beach.

○ On August 26, the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters decided to apply the following measures to all of Split-Dalmatia Province for 14 days from midnight on the 27th.
(1) In indoor eating and drinking facilities, it is mandatory to wear a mask except when eating or drinking.
(2) The number of guests who can participate in the wedding is limited to 50.
(3) Others The maximum number of guests at a private ceremony is 20.
(4) The maximum number of people who can attend the funeral is 50. Post-funeral meetings are prohibited and no condolences may be expressed in any manner that involves physical contact.
(5) At all social events (assemblies, performances, masses, ceremonies, exhibitions and other public events), it is obligatory to comply with the prescribed epidemiological measures, and indoor events include wearing a mask and 2 meters. It is mandatory to secure the above physical distance.
(6) Event organizers and restaurant owners are obliged to strictly supervise compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures.
(7) The gym, fitness center and other recreation facilities will be closed.
(8) Sports competitions can only be held by non-spectators.
(9) Visiting elderly care facilities and other social welfare facilities is prohibited. In addition, it is recommended that these facilities perform shift work as much as possible.
Britain and Austria suddenly put Croatia on the Red List (subject to voluntary quarantine for 14 days after returning to Japan), causing a slight return rush and making the city quite quiet. Yesterday there was a report in the news that it took more than 10 hours to cross the Austrian border.

Immigration from Croatia to Slovenia

Regarding the change in immigration regulations (immigration regulations from Croatia), the Slovenian government announced that it has decided to include Croatia in the Red List (state of exemption from voluntary isolation). As a result, from August 21st, when entering from Croatia, 14 days of voluntary quarantine is required in principle. However, for Slovenians who are already in Croatia, if they enter Slovenia by Monday, August 24, they will be exempt from voluntary isolation. Details will be announced as soon as new information comes in, including conditions for those who can enter Japan without voluntary isolation.
The other day was a Serbian culture day in the Istria/Istrian Peninsula, where there were exhibits and dance performances in the center of the city of Pula.
Unfortunately, only the Istria is the only Serbian descent in Croatia today that can hold such an event without any harassment or police guarding. Historically strongly influenced by Italy, the Istra Peninsula, which is still the official language of Italy, is a peaceful coexistence of various ethnic groups and religious groups.

From 15th August, immigrants from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Northern Macedonia will be required to submit proof of negative PCR test results within 48 hours prior to entry. Please be aware of this if you are going to enter Serbia from that country (excluding Japanese nationals who have a permanent residence or long-term residence status).
