There are many buildings in Moscow that retain their old-fashioned look. Among them, the high-class grocery store called "Elyseeevsky", which has a history of 120 years, is probably famous.
"Elisséeffsky" is said to be the most beautiful grocery store in the world and is always listed in Russian guidebooks. The interior of the store has a neo-Baroque style and retains the history and atmosphere of the early 20th century.
Although it is a traditional store, it has evolved as a modern supermarket. It has been run by a supermarket company that runs "Rue Pulsar" since 2005, but very disappointing news was announced earlier this month. "Elisséeffsky" will close on April 11th this year because the ownership dispute with the city of Moscow cannot be resolved.
The Moscow government is trying to preserve it as a cultural property, but for now the future of the store is unknown.

The most popular Soviet cartoon in Russian history is "Cheburashka". Cheburashka is a character from the picture book "Gena the Crocodile".
In 1969 the animation director for Soyuzmultfilm created a puppet animation. Since then, Cheburashka has become a popular character.
From January 2023, a movie remake of the animation "Cheburashka" was released in Russia and became a hit during the New Year holidays. The movie theater was full of children. "Cheburashka" is the highest-grossing Russian film of all time, with over 5 billion rubles at the box office.

・Six tons of oranges were used during the filming of the movie.
