Latest COVID-19 conditions

On the 23rd March, England was placed in a state of lockdown, with households allowed to leave the house once per day for one hour, and all non-essential shops ordered to close. Non essential journeys were also made illegal.

While we have been in lockdown since March, from early June, the number of COVID19 cases in the country has been steadily decreasing, and the lockdown measures have been eased as the number of cases have been decreasing. Non essential shops were allowed to re-open on the 15th June with social distancing measures in place, and restaurants and pubs planning to re-open on the 4th July.

We are pleased that the number of cases is decreasing, and that shops are being allowed to gradually re-open. It's likely that social distancing will be in place for some time yet, and tours are not currently allowed to operate. We will be putting in place health & safety measures and look forward to the day we are allowed to operate again!
