Travel VoiceWe held a one-day tour of the Grand Canyon on January 3rd.
The customer was a couple who had been to a university in California for a year.
Unlike the crowds and bad weather until last week, we enjoyed sightseeing slowly in fine weather.
The Desert View Road to the East Gate, which was closed due to heavy snow last week, resumed on January 1st and is still open. However, since there are many sections where the road surface is frozen, it takes longer than usual to move.
Grand Canyon of snow makeup! ️
It's finally winter!
On December 31st and January 1st, we held a one-night, two-day Grand Circle tour.
The customers were a family of four stationed in New York, sisters studying abroad in Los Angeles, and one man who lived permanently in Los Angeles, for a total of three groups of seven people.
On the first day, the weather was bad and it rained and snowed in both Sedna and the Grand Canyon, so I couldn't see the scenery very well. I was able to see the first sunrise of the year beautifully.
It looks like the weather will be nice this week.
A two-day, one-night Grand Circle tour was held on December 30th and 31st.
The guests this time were a family of three residing in Alabama, a couple living in New York, and a man living in Philadelphia, for a total of three groups of six people.
It was a tour to stay in the Grand Canyon and watch the sunset and sunrise, but on the morning of the second day, the road to the east side of the Grand Canyon was closed due to heavy snow, so I detoured for about an hour and a half and headed to Antelope Canyon. Did.
Although it became longer in the car, we were able to make the sightseeing almost as planned and the customers enjoyed the tour.
明けましておめでとう御座います🎍

Happy New Year.
We look forward to working with you this year as well.
I will post a photo of the first sunrise of the Grand Canyon just taken.
After the New Year's Eve countdown in Las Vegas, this time we took a couple living in Seattle and left for the Grand Canyon at 1am.
It was snowing and stopping for more than a week until last night, so I was worried if I could see the first sunrise of this morning, but I was able to see the best sunrise in a long time.
Nearly 400 people watched the live stream of the first sunrise of the Grand Canyon.
2022 is off to a good start!
We held a day tour of the Grand Canyon on December 29th and 30th.
The customer on the 29th was a family of four stationed in New York, and the customer on the 30th was also a family of four stationed in Maryland.
I think that many people living in the United States have given up on returning to Japan with their families during the year-end and New Year holidays due to the stricter border measures at the airport due to the influence of Omicron stocks. (Actually, I am one of them)
Many Americans have stopped traveling abroad, so the streets of Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon are very crowded with domestic tourists.
The Grand Canyon hasn't been blessed with the weather because it snows and stops every day for the past week or so, but I was still pleased to see the scenery this time.
Today is December 31st, the last post of the year.
In my next post, I would like to give the first sunrise of the Grand Canyon. (I hope the weather will improve!)
I look forward to working with you in 2022.
It's time to look back on 2021.
Las Vegas is, after all, the completion of a new hotel
It was the most wonderful 🤩 event.
At this time ... Las Vegas, right?

We held a tour of the Grand Circle for 2 nights and 3 days from December 27th to 29th.
The customer was a parent and child living in New York. A daughter from Japan came to visit my father who was assigned to work alone, and we both participated in this tour.
It was a chartered tour limited to one group per day, so I enjoyed the time without parents and children.
It was a pity that the local weather was not very good and there were many cloudy days throughout the three days. On the second day, a heavy snowfall hit the Grand Canyon, closing the road from the east gate into the national park and making a major detour to the Grand Canyon hotel.
On the third day, I went to see the Asahi of the Grand Canyon in the snow, but I could not see the Asahi due to the thick clouds, but I could see the scenery of the Grand Canyon covered with snow momentarily.
After that, I was planning to go sightseeing in Sedona, but the traffic conditions were not good due to snow, so I canceled the sightseeing in Sedona this time and returned to Las Vegas without overdoing it.
Snow forecasts are still available today, tomorrow and this year, so please be careful when driving if you are going to the Grand Canyon.
From December 24th to 25th, we held a tour of "Grand Circle 1 night 2 days Grand Canyon & Antelope Canyon & Sedna & Monument Valley & Horseshoe Bend <Chartered / Japanese Guide>".
It's the ultimate luxury tour where you can visit 8 great spots in just 2 days!
Although it was a rare customer from Japan, it was attended by two young couples who have traveled around the world for more than two months from October (although not strictly from Japan). ). He said that he continued to travel by selecting countries and regions with loose entry restrictions, and that Turkey was very good during his visit. I'm envious of the fact that I'm planning to go to Thailand after my trip to the United States.
On the first day, we will leave Las Vegas early in the morning for Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Forrest Gump Point, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon National Park, where we will stay near the Grand Canyon National Park. This time I stayed at Yabapai Lodge in the park. Since the daylight hours are the shortest in the year, it will be dusk when you arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy watching the sunset at the Grand Canyon. The sunset at the Grand Canyon is an exquisite beauty that you will never forget, and it will heal your body and soul.
On the second day, we will return to Las Vegas after watching the Asahi in the Grand Canyon, visiting other observatories, Sedona, which is a popular power spot, and Seligman, the post town of Route 66. You can see a very beautiful sunrise in the Grand Canyon, and the snow that shook a few days ago created a fantastic landscape. We believe that we have had an unforgettable Christmas that will be memorable for our customers. In Sedna, we were blessed with the weather and were able to charge the power safely!
The total mileage of these two days is about 1000 miles (1600 km), which is a long tour, but the feeling of fulfillment after visiting 8 places will never cease, leaving memories and impressions for everyone. There is no doubt that it will give you.
Currently, traveling abroad from Japan is extremely difficult, but when it's over, please consider participating in this tour! We are all waiting for you!
