Travel VoiceOn July 20th and 21st, we held a one-night, two-day Grand Circle tour.
This time, the customer is a family of four stationed in Alabama, who postponed the trip they had applied for last summer vacation for one year and revenged this time.
I was very happy to be able to go to Antelope Canyon, which I had been longing for.
There were some scenes where it rained in the Grand Canyon, but thanks to that, I was able to see the rainbow over the valley.
In Japan, the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics is finally tonight (8 pm on the 23rd). The Olympics really start in Tokyo!
It seems that the Olympics will be the center of attention at once, such as watching the softball women's qualifying from a few days ago and the men's soccer winning the first match against South Africa last night.
I'm reluctant that the number of unattended games has increased, but I hope it will be a tournament that makes me happy that there was an Olympic Games in Tokyo when the Japanese medal rush ended.
I also support you from Las Vegas!
"Do your best, Japan!"
From July 19th to 21st, we held a tour of the Grand Circle for 2 nights and 3 days.
The customer was a family of four living in New York who traveled to Las Vegas during the summer vacation.
The tour was a mixed ride plan, but since there were no other participants, it was reserved for the family.
On the first day, we visited Bryce Canyon National Park in the morning, visited Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend in the afternoon, and finally watched the sunset at Lake Powell.
On the second day, I went sightseeing in Monument Valley in the morning and then slowly went sightseeing in Grand Canyon until sunset.
On the third day, after seeing the sunrise in the Grand Canyon, I moved to Sedona for a day's sightseeing, then stopped at Route 66 (Seligman) and returned to Las Vegas.
There was a scene in the Grand Canyon on the way, but I was worried that Antelope Canyon was able to go sightseeing as planned without being affected by the rain, and the customers were happy.
I have received a photo showing the state of my close family, so I will post it.
On the last day of the 3-night 4-day tour around the Grand Circle, we visited the Grand Canyon and the power spot Sedona. It was a four-day tour that was blessed with good weather, and it was a tour where you could enjoy the wonderful scenery of the contrast between the red sandstone and the blue sky, which is a specialty of the Grand Circle.
A two-night, three-day Grand Circle tour was held from July 17th to 19th.
The customer was a couple residing in Austin, Texas.
This course was a chartered tour limited to one group per day, which was held last time on July 8th.
Stay in Sedona and Bryce Canyon to watch the sunset and starry sky, respectively.
However, the schedule this time was cloudy as a whole, and I couldn't see the setting sun and the starry sky full of sky, even though I sometimes encountered the evening sun.
Although it is seasonal, the number of convectional rains (heavy rain) has increased recently. Floods have also hit the outskirts of Las Vegas, but the finally reopened Antelope Canyon is screaming every day to see if it will be closed due to floods (flash floods).
Flash floods enter the valley several times a year and close, but I would like to show it to customers who are waiting for the reopening and will join the tour.
I've received a lot of photos showing the tour this time as well, so I'll post them.
* Horseshoe Bend * Sedona (from Chapel of Holly Cross)
* Zion National Park
Antelope Canyon, a popular tourist spot from Las Vegas, has reopened, and on the 3rd day of the 3 nights and 4 days tour that is being held, we hurriedly incorporated it and went immediately! !!
Due to the sudden reopening, there were still few tourists and our tour was reserved for Navajo guides. Thanks to you, I had a lot of pictures taken. The number of visitors is limited, and there is a duty to wear a mask and temperature measurement, so it will be reopened to ensure completeness.
On July 16th and 17th, we held a one-night, two-day Grand Circle tour.
The customer was a group of 10 people in their 20s and 30s who came to Silicon Valley, California for about a month from a Japanese company.
During my limited business trip to the United States, I learned that Antelope Canyon had reopened and took part in the tour together with the Grand Canyon during the weekend break.
This tour is the most popular course this summer, stopping at Route 66 (Seligman) on the first day, then sightseeing in Sedona for a day and finally watching the sunset at the Grand Canyon.
On the second day, we will visit the Grand Canyon from the morning sun, Antelope Canyon in the morning, and Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell in the afternoon, and return to Las Vegas in the evening.
He said that it was a pity that he couldn't remove the mask when taking pictures in the valley because it is still mandatory to wear a mask for sightseeing in Antelope Canyon, but it is not crowded so it is possible to take pictures slowly. I was happy to be able to do it.
Everyone was very energetic and close, and they cooperated a lot in taking group photos!
I will post some of them.
On the second day of the tour around the Grand Circle, we will visit popular spots in the northern part of the Grand Circle.
Dead Horse Point Utah State Park, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park.
Since it is a tourist destination away from Las Vegas, you will basically visit it on a tour that is longer than 3 nights and 4 days. I was blessed with wonderful weather! !!
On July 15th, we held a one-day sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon.
The customer is a couple who are staying in Boston for two years studying abroad from the company, and participated to see the Grand Canyon with the strong hope of their wife before returning to Japan.
We have been conducting this tour every day for 15 years. On many days, there were about 150 participants a day, but in the Corona sword, there are almost no events, let alone mixed rides.
It is scheduled to be held three times this month, but each time the customer is reserved for two people.
Now that it is difficult to travel from Japan to the United States, I think that most of the mixed-ride tours in the United States as well as our company are chartered tours as a result.
With that in mind, those who can participate in the tour now (basic American residents) are very likely to be chartered tours at the price of mixed tours, so it is a great deal!
Take this opportunity to take a tour of America's wilderness and national parks.

It is the first day of the 3 nights and 4 days tour that goes around the Grand Circle.
We visited popular Utah national parks, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park.
Tourists are basically American and no one is visiting from overseas, so they are more vacant than usual.

On July 14th, I made a day trip to Sedna for a sewing trip plan.
This time, a total of 5 people (5 people) participated as a commemorative gift for a couple who cannot come to their honeymoon, a woman on their birthday, and another couple.
Right now, I'm planning a sewing trip once a month, but when I came to Sedna last month (last month), it was over 42 degrees Celsius and the shooting was a fight against the heat, but this time the squall of the previous night Due to the influence, the temperature was around 30 ℃ and it was comfortable.
However, the scenery of Oak Creek (river) flowing in the center of Sedona was cloudy brown due to the rain that fell upstream, and it looked like after the flood.
RED ROCK CROSSING, which is usually crowded with families playing in the river, was sparsely populated this time.
I managed to finish the shooting safely while the weather was fine while worrying about the eerie evening clouds in the west sky.
Immediately after leaving Sedna, I encountered a convectional rain.
