The Cairns Trithlon Tournament was held yesterday Sunday to commemorate the 10th anniversary.
Due to the influence of Corona, there were no athletes from other countries, but a large number of domestic athletes gathered and the event was a great success. Thank you to all the participants. I pray that next year's race will be a world where overseas athletes, including Japan, can participate. QLD is almost back to normal life without the influence of Corona.
Corona Free Mask Free QLD State 😁
Cairns is a corona-free, mask-free city that has been free of corona infections since May of last year. Meanwhile, there was a trail run race on Sunday from a station near Cairns to Kuranda village, and many people enjoyed the race. You can see the photos taken during the race, so please take a look at Cairns where nature spreads. The trail run here runs through the rainforest, so you can run with the power of nature!
The Cairns Gold Coast, QLD, continues to have zero infected people in the state.
Domestic travel is very active in Australia, where overseas travel is not possible.
You don't have to wear a mask in QLD, so it's mask-free everywhere and you're living the same way you were before Corona.
It was a sky walk this morning!
The Skywalk is really great when the fog hits!
Queensland, which is about to enter the dry season, is cool in the morning and evening and warm during the day 😁
It depends on the location.
You can enjoy the dry season from now on!
In Western Australia, no community-acquired infection of the new corona has been confirmed since April last year, except for one confirmed at the end of January this year. An election was held in the state on the 13th of this month, and the current governor's response to Corona was evaluated, including restrictions on movement across state borders, and he was re-elected. Recently, the number of community-acquired infections has been low nationwide (a total of 46 days as of yesterday when no community-acquired infections were confirmed nationwide), and the country has announced a policy to encourage domestic travel.
Vaccination has begun with priority given to healthcare workers and the elderly, and about 240,000 people have already received the first vaccination. It depends on the vaccination situation in the future, but according to the news, it is likely that Japanese tourists will come again after October. We will inform you of the latest information at a later date.
The other day, I took a ferry from downtown Perth to Rottnest Island on a day trip. There are many beautiful beaches, but after all, "Quokka" is cute! Quokka is a small companion of kangaroos and wallabies, and is said to be the "happiest animal in the world" because it looks like it has a raised corner and smiles. It is a marsupial unique to the south of Western Australia, and there are 10,000 marsupials on Rottnest Island, so you can meet them immediately even in the daytime. The next picture is one of them I took the other day.
