2 When entering Macau by a direct flight from a foreign country or when making Macau the first transit point, the following applies.
For Macau residents who have traveled abroad, in addition to presenting a negative certificate of PCR test within 48 hours before departure, medical observation (isolation measures at the hotel) for 10 days (Note 1) and 7 days after entering the border Mandatory self-health observation (Note 2).
During the self-health observation period, it is necessary to undergo a nucleic acid test on the 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 17th days after entry.
Macau residents aged 12 and over who enter the border from abroad are required to show a vaccination certificate (two or more vaccinations) at the time of entry (14 days have passed since the last vaccination date). For those over the age of 18, a certificate indicating that booster vaccination has been completed is required if more than 7 months have passed since the last vaccination date. However, a doctor or a person who has a document certifying that the situation unsuitable for vaccination will continue for the next two months or more can enter the border without a vaccination certificate. If Macau residents enter the border from mainland China, it is not necessary to show a vaccination certificate. Macau residents are required to show a vaccination certificate when entering the border from Hong Kong and Taiwan.
In addition to the above conditions, travelers who have a history of infection with the new coronavirus within 2 months from the scheduled entry date to Macau will give negative results three times in a row in the antigen test or PCR test taken at least 24 hours apart. You can only board the transportation to Macau at least 14 days after you get it.
In addition, as mentioned in 1 above, some restrictions on entry into Macau have been relaxed for "non-resident foreigners" who meet the conditions. The person concerned must present a PCR test negative certificate issued within 24 hours before departure, and must have medical observation for 14 days (10 days if the conditions of Note 1 are met) and 7 days of self-health observation after entry.
