To all Tanzania residents and short-term visitors

1. The Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit will be held in Dar es Salaam from 27th to 28th January.
From this weekend until the end of January, motorcades of VIP vehicles with lead cars and security vehicles will be moving repeatedly as leaders and important people from around Africa and beyond arrive, depart, and travel to Dar es Salaam.
Roads are closed throughout the city, preventing ordinary vehicles from passing, resulting in accidents caused by cars and motorcycles making reckless overtaking attempts or refusing to follow police instructions.

2. If you are planning to use Dar es Salaam airport during the above period, please try to travel early so that you can make it in time even if you get caught up in the confusion.
When commuting to work or returning home, please be more considerate of your surroundings than usual and take care to avoid getting involved in an accident.
