Caution regarding eight-day demonstrations by presidential candidates starting December 4th (Wednesday)
Dec. 3, 2024, 4:11 p.m.
In the protests that have been held intermittently so far, violent clashes have occurred between police authorities and demonstrators, and police authorities have used tear gas to disperse demonstrators, resulting in deaths, and there is a risk that a similar situation will occur this time as well. In addition, in previous protests, regardless of whether or not there was a call for it, actions such as stacking obstacles on the road and burning old tires have frequently occurred, so please refrain from going out when protests are occurring in your area (especially during the protest times mentioned above), and if you do encounter a protest, please leave the area immediately and ensure your own safety. Also, please obtain the latest information on protests and take safety measures.
