 もし、旅行者がパスポートを盗難されたり、紛失した場合には、新規パスポートは日本国内で作成するので交付には約4週間かかるため、多くの場合は、帰国のための渡航書の発給が必要となり、旅程変更を余儀なくされることになります。帰国のための渡航書は、トランジットを除き、他の国への渡航に利用ができません。そのため、旅程に他の国へ渡航が含まれている場合には、日本へ帰国するためのフライトに変更する必要が生じ、大きな支障を来すことになります。
 つきましては、旅行者の皆様におかれましては、スリや置き引きの被害に遭わないために、以下のことを心がけてください。

●財布やパスポート等の貴重品類は、できるだけ内ポケットなど衣類の内側に入れて、肌身離さず身につけておく。ショルダーバッグやバッグに入れる場合には、必ずチャック付きのものを使用する。
●人通りの多い場所では、ショルダーバッグやバックは体の前に抱えて持ち、常に視界の中に置く。
