It's cold in New York this week, with the temperature dropping to 1 degree.
Daylight saving time ends this week on the calendar.
Winter time begins on Sunday, November 5th.
So the time difference between Japan and New York is 14 hours.

In NY it's 8pm the night before.
And every Sunday, this winter time returns
New York City Marathon Day, one of the three major marathons in the world.
(The other two are the Boston and Chicago Marathons)

More than 2 million people rush to support the event, each holding their own flags and message boards.

Another feature of the festival is that it cheers on the runners with live music that is rooted in the area.
Harlem has a gospel stage, an R&B and hip-hop stage, a DJ stage, and a Latin/Caribbean stage.
Physically and mentally near the finish line at Central Park

We'll liven it up with lively Harem music!
First place prize is 100,000 dollars (approximately 15 million yen)
Proceeds will be used for charity, and this year it will also be used to support war victims.
If you are in NYC, please be careful as ground transportation will be heavily restricted.

From the streets of Brooklyn in the 90s, the brand has grown significantly, revealing key moments and behind-the-scenes stories.

I attended the opening ceremony.
Starting with the Black National Anthem "Lift Every Voice and Sing"
DJ, live performance, dance,
I also got to hear valuable stories from the former editor-in-chief of Honey Magazine and VIBE magazine.
It opened with great fanfare as not just an exhibition but a place for the community.
The hall features a mural of Brooklyn-born legendary "King of New York" Notorious B.I.G.
XXL, a hip-hop magazine that was selling explosively at the time, imitated the jazz song "Great Day in Harlem" (1958)
In 1998
"Greatest Day in Hip-Hop" was filmed gathering over 100 famous rappers in Harlem.
