▶ Coronavirus infection status
As of June 29, 2021, a total of 16,136 people were tested positive for the new coronavirus in Vietnam. A total of 12,694 people were infected in the community after April 27, when the fourth wave cluster occurred. The number of people who have recovered is 6,519. The current death toll is 78.
▶ Moderna vaccine allowed for emergency use
In Vietnam, the following four types of vaccines have already been approved for emergency use.
① Vaccine made by AstraZeneca in the UK ➁ Sputnik V made in Russia
➂ Made by China Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm) ④ Vaccine made by US Pfizer
With the approval of Moderna vaccines manufactured in Spain and France, there will be five types.
According to the Ministry of Health, as of June 28, there were 112,344 new coronavirus vaccinations, of which Ho Chi Minh City accounted for 73,975, the highest number.
The cumulative number of vaccinations is 3,497,104, of which 172,994 have been completed up to the second.

▶ The first vaccination rate exceeds 90% in 6 provinces and cities
According to a report by the Ministry of Health, Vietnam has received a total of 61 million doses of vaccine, of which more than 56 million doses have been distributed to each province and city.
As of October 4, the cumulative number of inoculations in Vietnam was 46,699,510, of which 35,355,593 were reported as the first and 11,613,917 were reported as the second.
Nearly 50% of those aged 18 and over have been vaccinated once, and 16% have completed two vaccinations.
In 6 provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi City, the initial vaccination rate exceeds 90%.
The inoculation rate in Ho Chi Minh City is 96% for the first time, 65% for the second time, 97% for the first time and 18% for the second time in Hanoi.
