▶ Consideration of introduction of stricter measures than Prime Minister's Instruction No. 16
While the number of people infected with the new coronavirus continues to record the highest number every day, on July 20, the government promulgated "Government Resolution 78 / NQ-CP" to address areas where the infection situation is becoming more serious. Instructed to introduce even stricter measures than the "Prime Minister's Directive No. 16 / CT-TTg", which is considered to be the strictest social isolation measure.
The New Corona Prevention National Guidance Committee and related organizations will provide intensive and prompt guidance to the provinces and cities in and around Ho Chi Minh City, where the spread of infection is the most serious in the 4th wave, and will actively support them. We also plan to strengthen the crackdown so that the people will strictly adhere to the measures.

▶ The first vaccination rate exceeds 90% in 6 provinces and cities
According to a report by the Ministry of Health, Vietnam has received a total of 61 million doses of vaccine, of which more than 56 million doses have been distributed to each province and city.
As of October 4, the cumulative number of inoculations in Vietnam was 46,699,510, of which 35,355,593 were reported as the first and 11,613,917 were reported as the second.
Nearly 50% of those aged 18 and over have been vaccinated once, and 16% have completed two vaccinations.
In 6 provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi City, the initial vaccination rate exceeds 90%.
The inoculation rate in Ho Chi Minh City is 96% for the first time, 65% for the second time, 97% for the first time and 18% for the second time in Hanoi.
