On October 13th, I took pictures in the Grand Canyon and Sedna for a monthly sewing trip project.
This time, we received applications for a total of four people, two girls aged 10 and 14 for the Grand Canyon edition, and two women in their 40s for the Sedna edition.
While traveling from Japan is still difficult, this project, in which teddy bears travel instead, started in February and is constantly participating.
Customer satisfaction is many times higher than regular tours, and every time I get a thank-you message, it's worth it.
This time, the costumes are also Halloween specifications, named after this month's Halloween.

On October 13th, we held a one-day sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon.
The customer was a family of three who have been stationed in San Francisco since June of this year.
The first snow fell on the Grand Canyon the day before and the snow was still on the ground.
The temperature was 6 degrees Celsius, but the weather was fine and I didn't mind the cold.
The Grand Canyon has been crowded for the past week or so.
It took an extra hour and 20 minutes to get through the traffic jam at the entrance of the national park on this day as well.
Of course, tourists are only American residents, not from overseas, but it wasn't before Corona that it was so crowded on weekdays during this time, not during the vacation season.
Is corona a big change in lifestyle and is the number of tourists increasing during this season of October?

On October 9th and 10th, we held a one-night, two-day Grand Circle tour.
The customer was a couple who had just been stationed in New York three months ago. I visited Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon for sightseeing during my first vacation in the United States.
Throughout the two days of the tour, the weather was good and I was able to see the sunset and sunrise at the Grand Canyon, which I had longed for.
Originally it was a mixed ride tour, but this time as well, there were no other customers and it was a chartered tour for two people, so the customers were also very satisfied.

This time, the second time, we would like to introduce "the first day of the tour and sightseeing contents".
Around 7 am, we will leave Denver, Colorado for the first tourist destination, the Crazy Horse Memorial, which will take about six and a half hours with a break from Colorado to Wyoming to South Dakota. It's a long and long-distance trip, but you won't get bored at all because you can enjoy the vast grasslands of the western United States from the train window, which you can never see in Japan. By the way, this tour will travel across 6 states. The remaining 3 states will be introduced next time! Lunch will be purchased at the convenience store where you will stop by for a break and will be completed in the car.
Around 1:30 pm, we arrived at the Crazy Horse Memorial (a giant face carving sculpture inspired by a brave Lakota warrior) and took a bus tour not only from the observatory but also to the foot of the monument. Therefore, you can see the facial image from a closer distance. It has been more than 70 years since the construction started in 1948, but when it is completed, it will be the largest statue in the world. You can also learn about the history and culture of indigenous people. Staying time is about one and a half hours.
Around 3:30 pm, we arrived at Mount Rushmore National Memorial (a statue of four presidents in the history of the United States), just 30 minutes from the Crazy Horse Memorial. After taking a photo at the observatory, we will take a walk for about 30 minutes on the trail where you can see the facial images of successive presidents from all angles. If you visit the museum, you will be impressed by the harshness of the sculpture process at that time. Staying time is about one and a half hours.
Around 5 pm, we left for the town of Sundance, Wyoming, where we stayed, and traveled for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Rest time for a while.
At around 6:45 pm, we arrived at Sundance, a quiet country town where you can feel the history and culture of old America, and disbanded after check-in. Thank you very much for your long trip!
For dinner, enjoy a hearty gorgeous steak at the nearby saloon (a bar / restaurant peculiar to the western United States during the pioneering era)!
Next time, I will introduce the "Itinerary of the second day of the tour". looking forward to!
On October 9th, we held a one-day sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon.
The customers this time were two parents and children living in New York and three family members stationed in the United States, for a total of five people.
For us Japanese, the Grand Canyon is one of America's leading tourist destinations, and it's a popular spot that is one of the top three places to visit (where you want to see) when you come to the United States, so you want to visit it once no matter where you live in the United States. I think most people think.
But surprisingly, more than half of the Americans around me in Las Vegas have never been to the Grand Canyon. Why is there a Grand Canyon so close? I think.
One of my neighbors has lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years and asks, "I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but what kind of place?"
Perhaps I've been in a travel job for many years, so I was naturally interested in tourist attractions all over the United States and went to many of them, but when I lived without much interest in travel, it was like the Grand Canyon. Even if the place is nearby, it may be meaningless to them.
Even so, I think that many Americans have changed their lifestyles due to the influence of this corona and enjoyed the nature around them, and because it is difficult to travel abroad, many Americans have turned their attention to tourist destinations in the United States.
Due to such demand, the tourist destinations of the Grand Canyon and the Grand Circle have become record busy this year. Even though the peak of the tourist season has already passed, the Grand Canyon was very crowded with three consecutive holidays this weekend.

The city of Las Vegas has also become quite cool in the morning and evening. It seems that the temperature will drop further next week. This time too, we would like to introduce you to the Cosmopolitan Hotel in the center of the city of Las Vegas. It is said that the facilities and services will not change much even if they become the MGM Group. Introducing DIVE IN MOVIE, an event limited to spring and autumn, where you can watch a nostalgic movie on a big screen in the pool on the 3rd floor. Please see the video because it is easy to understand.

On October 7th, we held a one-day sightseeing tour of the Grand Canyon.
The guests were three men from Japan staying in Las Vegas for work.
The Grand Canyon has been getting cold all at once these days.
Daytime temperatures are around 15 degrees Celsius, and nighttime minimum temperatures drop below freezing.
The weather forecast will also have a snow mark next Tuesday, so maybe you can see the first snow.
If you go sightseeing, dress in the middle of winter.
I went to MAROON BELLS in Colorado from October 3rd to 5th.
I happened to see the yellow leaves of Colorado on the net news and was impulsively driving to Colorado.
I chose GLENWOOD SPRINGS in Colorado this time, and it takes more than 8 hours by car from Las Vegas one way.
I have stayed in this town in the past and it is famous for hot springs. Of course, I stayed in this town for 2 nights for the purpose of hot springs, but the first aim is to hunt yellow leaves.
So I aimed for MAROON BELLS in the middle of the day.
MAROON BELLS is one of the top three most popular tourist destinations in Colorado's many scenic spots.
You can drive from GLENWOOD SPRINGS for about an hour to ASPEN, and then take a reservation-based shuttle bus for about 20 minutes each way.
MAROON PEAK at an altitude of 4300 meters seen through MAROON LAKE is reflected on the lake, and it is a superb view spot where anyone can take moving pictures.
Especially during this season of yellow leaves, the scenery is mixed with bright yellow and orange, and you can see the most beautiful scenery of the year.
Since I was driving from Las Vegas, the first and third days were mostly on the move, but it's best to use DENVER as the gateway.
It is a 3-hour drive from DENVER to GLENWOOD SPRINGS.
Please go to MAROON BELLS with the hot springs.
