Most tourists to Macau are inland China, but entry requires a negative PCR test certificate valid within 48 hours. It is the hope of the travel industry to extend the PCR test negative certification valid within 7 days toward Golden Week in May. Last year, 167,000 tourists visited from May 1st to May 5th, but this year we expect 100,000.
