The newly infected person was found positive on arrival at Saipan International Airport.
Currently under surveillance at an isolation facility. This brings the total number of infections in the Northern Mariana Islands to 69. However, community infections continue to subside.

Saipan, which was a fierce battlefield of the Pacific War, has many memorial monuments erected to requiescat those who were killed in action. Every year, in August, when the end of the war is approaching, the local Japanese Association sponsors a memorial monument cleaning activity and memorial service with a wish for peace.
This time, I would like to introduce the state of cleaning the "Monument of the War Dead in the Central Pacific Ocean" in the northern part of Saipan Island. I am struck by the wonderful activities.
