Hafa die! Hello everyone.
Today is boat operation test day!
The "Hagantasi" of Saipan Sea Cruise, which I used to take care of, is preparing to start in late June.
There is no problem with berthing and operation! In the future, we plan to enter the final work such as painting the roof.
The Hagantasi is the largest boat among the Managaha Island transfer boats, with a capacity of 145 people.
The operating speed is not as fast as a speedboat, but it was a very stable and comfortable cruise.
At Tasi Tours, we plan to increase the number of operations at the timing of this boat change.
We can guide more customers to Managaha Island.
The new schedule will be announced at a later dateー*Managaha Island was really beautiful today!
Would you like to observe coral spawning in Saipan this summer?
The spawning forecast date for 2023 has also been released!
In Saipan, local diving instructors have played a central role for several years, and persistent observation and consideration have been continued to identify the spawning season of corals. As a result, we have been able to guide customers on coral spawning tours since last year. Of course, it's a natural phenomenon, so we can't guarantee 100% compensation, but last year there was a high probability that we could enjoy it together with our customers, so we have high expectations for this year as well.
Massive coral spawning is expected this year on July 9th and August 7th.
Why don't you have a mysterious diving experience at night in Saipan this year? Details below!

It's June. Every Saturday in Saipan, the biggest food festival in Mariana, "Taste of Mariana", starts.
It is an event that locals look forward to every year, and at the venue, selected menus from restaurants and hotels are sold. In addition to food booths, there are stalls selling local handicrafts and crafts, live performances on stage, various contests, and various event programs. (Ina's Kitchen) Chicken Wing Eating Contest will be held.
It's an event where you can enjoy local food and live performances as a memory of your trip, so if you're in Saipan on Saturday, please come and visit us. The place is a plaza called Fishing Base in Garapan where hotels are lined up.

Hafa die! Hello everyone.
Direct flights from Narita resumed for the first time in about 12 days yesterday!
United Airlines was suspended for a while due to Typhoon Mahwah...
(Flights from Korea resumed a little earlier)
I also went to the airport for the first time in a while and guided the arriving customers.
I heard that it was almost full, including group customers.
Four buses of Tasi Tours were dispatched on this day.
Typhoon Mawa hit Guam the other day. Hotels, restaurants and activities are open as usual in Marianas without major damage.
If you are planning to travel to Saipan next month, please do not worry!
However, it is very important to be prepared for emergencies, as the old saying goes, "If you are prepared, you will not have to worry."
During this typhoon, flights were disrupted, and many people were stranded at the site because their return flights were canceled. In such a case, we recommend that you add compensation for flight delay costs to your overseas travel insurance as an option. Before departure, if the time of travel is likely to be hit by a typhoon, it is a good idea to enter just in case. Especially from now until September, it will be the typhoon season, so it is not to be underestimated.
Please take a moment to think about how to reduce unexpected expenses.
Typhoon No. 2 has hit Guam. I remembered that in 2018, Saipan was also hit by super typhoon Yutu, and the airport and hotel were damaged. I can only hope that Guam will recover as soon as possible and that the residents will be able to return to their normal lives.
Thanks to you, there was no direct damage to Saipan this time, and the swells of the sea have already subsided, and we are now approaching a sunny weekend.
The shuttle boats to Managaha Island have resumed operation from today, and people are returning to their daily lives. There is no fallen tree damage in tourist areas, so please come visit Mariana, including Saipan!
However, Rota Island is still damaged, and the electricity and water supply have been stopped. I hope you can recover quickly and get back to your daily life! Then, we will deliver today's video of Managaha below.

Hafa die! Hello everyone.
Typhoon No. 2 has passed through the nearby sea, and the wind has weakened considerably since this afternoon.
Saipan did not suffer much damage.
(I heard that Guam suffered quite a lot of damage, and I hope that it will be restored as soon as possible.)
Today, I went to check whether vehicles can safely come and go, such as access to the airport, northern sightseeing spots, and the mountain road to Mt. Tapochao.
Fortunately, there were no large fallen trees, and there were some spots where dirt was conspicuous, but it was not enough to block the passage of vehicles.
All that's left now is to wait for the flight to reunite.
Last but not least, I would like to apologize to all the customers who came to visit Saipan this time, and I am sorry for the bad weather and the cancellation of flights due to the typhoon.
We hope that the weather will be kinder on your next visit.
If you are in the Kansai area and love resorts and Korea, we recommend using Asiana Airlines for a great value Korean (Incheon Airport) transit Saipan tour!
In Saipan, you can usually buy souvenirs, and there is also a duty-free shop (DFS), but I still want to buy more brands and cosmetics (especially Korean cosmetics)! For those who say, Incheon Airport is a fun place no matter how many layovers you have. You can also enjoy delicious Korean gourmet while shopping.
Please experience the Saipan tour, where you can enjoy two cities at once with a connecting flight from Incheon!
Check out the tour below!

When you go on a trip, enjoying the local food and drink is one of the pleasures, isn't it?
Especially for beer lovers, if you can enjoy craft beer in the area, you will want to go there, right?
This time, I would like to recommend “Tapped Out” in Garapan to those who want to enjoy craft beer unique to the area. You can enjoy craft beer from various countries and regions, including craft beer made in the brewing area at the back of the store, along with delicious meals.
Luckily, they have Happy Hour every day from 5:30pm to 7:00pm!
The shop is located along Micro Beach Road in front of American Memorial Park. How about visiting before or after sunset at Micro Beach, which stretches into Garapan and Memorial Park?
Hafa die! Hello everyone.
The weather was generally good in the morning (although it felt a little windy...)
Typhoon No. 2 (Mawah) is approaching, so we are preparing for the passage of the typhoon for the ships anchored at the port.
Firmly fix with a rope, some ships move to the back of the cove...
Slowly, it seems to pass a little farther south than originally planned, but we can't let our guard down.
(I'm worried that it will pass near Guam)
I just pray that it won't be a big disaster, including the neighboring islands...
Hafa die! Hello everyone.
Today, I went to Coral Ocean Resort with my important business partner.
It felt like half work and half private, so we each ordered a glass of draft beer!
It was a very pleasant pool bar with a pleasant breeze blowing.
(I didn't see a single other customer...)
In fact, this Coral Ocean Resort has a past that was destroyed by a typhoon in 2018.
After that, with the efforts of the owner and others, the guest rooms, the front lobby and the resort pool were renovated,
It has been reborn as a hotel with a very tropical feel.
The recommended point is that you can see the view of Tinian Island from here and the planes coming down to the airport up close.
(Slightly off topic, but it seems that a typhoon is approaching Saipan right now...I'm super worried...)
