● Waikiki beach replenishment work ●
ALOHA! Replenishment work for the sandy beach expansion of Waikiki Beach began last week.
This work has been done before, but it seems that this work is necessary every 5 to 10 years due to the influence of global warming.
Due to this construction, part of Waikiki Beach has already been closed and it will take 3-4 months to complete.
I am grateful that many tourists did the construction work at this time before returning to Hawaii.

In Hawaii's local news, I took a questionnaire to those who traveled to Hawaii during the pandemic, and I saw an article about 90% of them answered that it was "good" despite various regulations.
This questionnaire was conducted by the Hawaii Tourism Board. Most people who come to Hawaii from the continental United States say the pre-travel test program was smooth.
