● About the Aloha Safe Alert App ●
Aloha! Happy ALOHA Friday ★
This week in Honolulu, the weather wasn't good, so I felt that the week was a little longer.
Have you heard of "Aloha Safe Alert" for Hawaii rubbers? This app was developed to suppress the infection of the new coronavirus, and it will receive an alert if there is a possibility of contact with the new coronavirus using the Bluetooth function.
And when visiting Maui from 1/19, downloading this app is now [required]! !! In other words, in order to visit Maui with a 10-day self-isolation exemption, you will need to download and set up the "Hawaii State Safe Travel Program Preliminary Test Negative Certificate" + "Aloha Safe Alert" app.
If you are planning a trip to Maui, please be careful.
Have a nice weekend! Stay safe ❤
● Schools on Oahu are now ... ●
Aloha! Today I would like to talk about school.
Public schools on Oahu have been conducting online classes since March of last year, and some students, including their own children, have never attended school online even after the start of the new semester. However, since the end of last year, only those who wished have been grouped, and finally, they are finally starting to go to school little by little. From next week, my children will go to each school 2-3 times a week according to their schedule.
(Yes, I will be picked up. ＞ ＜ ；)
The situation in Corona is changing day by day, and the school has to respond immediately, and depending on the response, parents will be burdened, but everyone is responding flexibly while having anxiety. It seems that.
Then everyone today, Have a beautiful day ❤

● Mandatory presentation of new coronavirus negative certificate when entering the United States ●
Aloha! 1/12 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced that it will require the presentation of a new coronavirus infection negative certificate when entering the United States, including Hawaii.
It seems that you will be required to show the airline a negative certificate of the new coronavirus infection test that you received within 3 days of leaving for the United States. If you cannot show the negative certificate, the airline can refuse to board.
Please note that this enforcement will be from 1/26.
I feel that my trip to Hawaii has gone a little further, but now it's a measure to protect each other.
My family wants to go back to Japan this summer, but can I go home?
Feel Aloha and have a beautiful weekend❤
● Shirokiya Shirokiya extends closure ●
Aloha! Nowadays, it is essential to check the website to see which stores are open before going out, and it has become a habit to call the store in advance when you really want to go or finish your work. I did.
I rarely go shopping at home, but when I go to Ala Moana, I want to stop by Shirokiya. Unfortunately, it was announced that the closure will be extended until the end of March. ＞ ＜ ；
It seems like the ultimate choice between radically changing the business concept and resuming it or waiting for the pandemic to end.
I want you to do your best to overcome this difficult time.
Good luck Shirokiya! I will support you in the shadow.
● Mandatory submission of inspection certificate within 72 hours when returning to Japan ●
Aloha! A state of emergency has been declared in Japan too> <;
Last year in Hawaii, there were even tougher orders for several months, so I'm confident that you're feeling uneasy in many ways. Now that the holiday season has passed in Hawaii, the number of infected people is rising again, and yesterday, Deputy Governor Green of Hawaii said that he would like to avoid rallies for two weeks.
Considering only Hawaii and Japan, in short, you have to have a negative proof to go to either! That's right. All of my family are tired of wanting to return to Japan as soon as possible, but I have to endure even more and escape from this situation first.
Let's get over it together ♫ Stay Safe !!
● Will UFOs appear on Oahu? !! ●
Aloha! Happy New Year everyone.
Last year was a year that was greatly affected by the new coronavirus infection around the world. 2021 is likely to continue to be a big year of constant change, but I hope that it will be a healthy and fulfilling year for all of you.
By the way, some of you may have already confirmed it in Hawaii news, but I saw it on New Year's Eve too! UFO! !! (That is surely a UFO!) I think the place is around Kaneo Hebay. I was so impatient that my fingers didn't move properly and I almost failed to take a video or a photo, but this is the one I took in a hurry with a zoom. It changed color, moved at a tremendous speed, and disappeared into the clouds. Immediately after that, Dodo Dawn and fireworks went up.
I would like to keep up the good work this year and update the information on Oahu.
Thank you for your cooperation.
● Kilauea volcano erupts ●
Aloha! It seems that the Halemaumau crater in Kilauea volcano erupted on Sunday night on December 20th, where Pele, the goddess of fire in Hawaiian mythology, lives.
There seems to be a warning because volcanic ash may be released into the atmosphere, but according to the information obtained from our operating company, mules (lava) are stable and the risk is low.
(* Please note that the situation may change in the future.)
The locals seem to be excited about the mule that I couldn't see for a while.
As long as safety is confirmed, mule viewing and limited-time tours may be held, so we will inform you again in that case.
Note: The photos shown are for illustrative purposes only.
● Diamond Head State Park reopens ●
Aloha! Good news!
Due to the pandemic, Diamond Head State Park, which had been closed for about nine months, has reopened on December 17th.
To be honest, the trails with masks are a little tough for me personally, but in this situation it is unavoidable. I hope I can climb Diamond Head again the next time I come ❤
● Whale watching cruise ●
Aloha! How was your weekend?
By the way, we have started selling the following whale watching cruises from today! Whale watching is usually available in Hawaii from mid-December to April. Humpback whales come from cold Alaska to the warm Hawaiian waters for breeding, childbirth and childcare.
The departure destination is Waianae Port on the west side of Oahu. Since the pick-up service is currently suspended, if you are staying in Waikiki, there will be a little distance, but the encounter rate for encountering humpback whales should increase accordingly. Off Waianae is also famous as a dolphin habitat, so if you are lucky you may meet dolphins and honu ❤

● Kailua boat shop ●
Aloha! When I was talking to a friend who owns a boat the other day, the boat shop in Kailua is now selling but out of stock! !! I heard that. When I happened to pass in front of it yesterday, the boats were almost gone even though the premises were usually full of boats.
I think that everyone is living with anxiety due to the influence of Corona, but I realize that there are actually many celebrities like "Then, buy a boat and cruising ~ ♬" in Hawaii. (I envy you ~ ☆)
Those who can't buy a boat, but think that it's a chartered boat.
There is a great package until the end of January ♬
★ Captain Bruce Heavenly Sea Sandbar (Sandbar) Go by 6-seater boat! Chartered snorkeling cruise
(* Currently, it can be held by up to 5 people!)
Please for reference if you like!
● Photographing with Santa Claus ●
Aloha! How did you spend your weekends?
I had a weekend affair, and when I stopped by Windward Mall, Santa Claus was already there. I'm sure there was a long line to take pictures with Santa Claus every year, but yesterday was rattling even on weekends. .. .. On the contrary, Santa Claus was waiting for everyone.
It's hard to understand in the photo, but there was a clear barrier in front of Santa Claus, and the photo with Santa Claus was taken through that barrier. Hmm. .. .. It's sad that I can't even touch Santa Claus> <;
But I wonder if it should be taken as a corona memorial. .. ..
Everyone, let's be careful about corona this week and keep going ♬
● Reopening Hanauma Bay ●
Aloha! Hanauma Bay has finally reopened from December 2nd.
With the reopening, the admission fee for non-residents has increased, but I think the major change is the number of visitors. Until now, it seems that there were about 3000 people a day on average, but for the time being, the number of visitors will be limited to 720 people a day. Until now, the park was closed every Tuesday, but it will be closed on Monday as well.
In other words, only 3600 people can enter, 5 days a week. .. .. Oh Noooo !!
We have become a world where we have to coexist with Corona, but to be honest, it feels a little inconvenient to accept various restrictions. However, on the other hand, you may be able to have a relaxing time and space like Hawaii ❤ only for you and Hawaii ❤ only for me ♬.
Have a nice weekend ♪
