A two-day, one-night Grand Circle tour was held on March 22nd and 23rd.
The customers were a couple who are studying abroad at a university in Chicago for work from Japan. (Apply with VELTRA)
I received a photo from the guide in charge, so I will post it.
The weather was fine on the first day (yesterday) and it was sunny in spring, but today the weather suddenly returned to midwinter.
Immediately after sightseeing in the Asahi at the Grand Canyon in the early morning, it began to snow heavily, and the morning trip to Horseshoe Bend took extra time due to the snowstorm.
The photo to be posted is
* This morning's Grand Canyon (Mather Point) where snow clouds hang down
* Today's Horseshoe Bend, also with clouds * The Grand Canyon on the evening of yesterday (22nd), which was blessed with good weather
This time, I would like to introduce the "back face" of Zion National Park.
The most memorable part of Zion is the view of the rugged rocky mountains in front of you.
Many of the sandstone monoliths, which are over 600 meters high, stand up almost vertically, and especially in the summer, you can see many rock climbers aiming for the top of the mountain.
Also, many tourists visiting here are most interested in hiking on a variety of trails.
The trails range from simple 30-minute round trips to one-day trails, mountain climbs to river walks.
In the high season, the parking lot in the park may become full at 8 am.
In Corona Whirlpool, the number of passengers on the shuttle in the park was restricted and it became a complete reservation system, but hiking in Zion became difficult because it was difficult to make a reservation.
However, you can drive to the top of the mountain from both the east and west sides of the national park using a fully paved road without having to access Zion from the park's main entrance (south exit), and then hike into the valley. You can enjoy.
In that case, there is no admission fee!
This time I would like to introduce a trail approaching from the west side of Zion, which is a very easy and comfortable NORTHGATE PEAKS TRAIL.
It is a hike that can be done in just over 2 hours after parking the car on the trail head.
I suddenly came up with it on March 20th, and although there was still a lot of snow in the place over 2000 meters above sea level, the trail with no height difference was a very pleasant time to walk. ..
I will post the photo at that time.
The weather was not good on this day and I want to walk on another trail, so I will revenge on Zion soon!
Just one year has passed since the closure of the Navajo Reservation by Corona. Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley, which are still in the Navajo Reservation, are closed, but other tourist destinations and national parks are open.

The blockade of the US-Canada border has been extended until April 21st.
The US government has announced that it will complete vaccination by July 4th in time for the summer travel season. Meanwhile, the Canadian government is cautious about reopening the border and will reconsider it after the number of new infections in both countries has dropped significantly.
It's been almost a year since Las Vegas locked down.
With the deregulation of Corona, people are returning to the city in the spring weather.
It's a refreshing spring, when you want to go out.
Sedna is wonderful, isn't it?

You cannot travel in Canada for sightseeing purposes yet, but you can travel with a student visa.
International students from all over the world have arrived at Vancouver Airport. Naturally, self-quarantine is required for 14 days after arrival.
Gradually feeling spring and feeling like traveling, British Columbia has still issued a state of emergency. The state of emergency to prevent the spread of the new corona infection has been extended until March 30.
This is the 26th extension since it was announced in March last year.
Ontario's state of emergency is over. On March 8th, the ban on going out was lifted in Toronto, and the economy is gradually resuming.
With the issuance of a state of emergency (= state of emergency), the federal government and state / territory governments will temporarily take over difficult tasks for municipalities, such as immigration restrictions, behavior restrictions, fund management, and mass procurement of supplies. .. Declaring the government's responsibility for safety in the event of a major disaster or infectious disease has the effect of encouraging calm action.
The hurdles to visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are likely to rise.
Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are the two most popular Canadian Rockies viewpoints. However, due to the limited parking lot, it is not possible to secure a space to park the car unless you go out early in the morning. Visiting by rental car is quite difficult.
There is a shuttle bus from Banff, but the shuttle bus in the summer of 2021 will change to a reservation system.
Lake Louise is getting more and more crowded every year, and the hurdles to visit are likely to become higher (Tears shuttle bus reservation is here >>

Starting this weekend, a major event called MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT will be held as scheduled to determine the national college basketball champion.
It is an annual event at this time of year, but last year the entire process of the event was canceled just before the event, which triggered most of the sporting events to be canceled or postponed.
I think it's a college basketball tournament, but it's a big event that sports fans all over the United States are enthusiastic about.
Sports gambling is allowed in many states in the United States, and it is said that 50 million people bet money and watch games at this event every year.
Speaking of sports betting, casinos here in Las Vegas are home to many fans during these events, staying at casino hotels and betting money on games to watch TV.
The casino hotel in Las Vegas, which has been struggling to manage for the past year in Corona Whirlpool, seems to be expecting a considerable number of people, as the room charge for this weekend is the high season price before Corona.
If you notice, the season is also spring.
Is it the arrival of spring in the city of Las Vegas?
Cherry blossoms have begun to bloom in Vancouver.
I have come to see daffodils and camellia flowers.
Daylight Saving Time (DST) began on March 14th on weekends in most Canadian states.
We are definitely approaching one step at a time in spring ♪

The casino hotel Cosmopolitan Hotel Buffet Wickid Spoon along the Las Vegas Strip will reopen on March 25th. Originally, the buffet is a style where you go to get as much as you like, but the waiter serves it. At the casino hotels along the strip, the Win Hotel has temporarily reopened in this way, but there are currently no open buffets on the strip. Only South Point Casino & Hotel, about 15 minutes drive south of the Strip, was reopening its buffet.
