Aloha! A friend of mine who returned to Narita from Honolulu on a special ANA flight a few days ago gave me information about how I arrived at Narita Airport, so I will share it today.
On board, in addition to the usual immigration documents, you will be given two questionnaires about Corona and fill them out. Upon arrival at Narita, the transfer will be given priority and the passengers will disembark, and then other passengers will disembark and take the PCR test. It was vacant at this time, so the result will come out in about an hour. Safely "negative"! On this day, it takes about 2 hours from arrival at the airport to passing through the arrival gate. (Depending on the congestion situation at the inspection site, even if you arrive at the airport and the door is open, you may have to wait for several hours on board.)
A friend of mine had his family pick him up in his private car, and he was in self-quarantine for 14 days now ~ ♬ Also, the inspector told me that he could go out for food during self-quarantine.

Aloha! The city of Honolulu recently added new rules regarding the types of masks required when boarding a city bus.
Rideable mask, double or triple cloth mask, disposable mask, double neck gaiter (neck warmer)
Masks that cannot be boarded ・ Masks with breathing valves or holes ・ Pull shirts to substitute for masks ・ Scarves ・ Bandanas ・ Face shields only

Personally, I think disposable masks are good, but I really hope that they will be "thrown away" and not reused for days.

Aloha! As you may already know from yesterday's local news, Hawaii's Deputy Governor Green can travel to Hawaii without isolation if he is completely vaccinated with the new coronavirus vaccine (vaccine passport). We announced that we may be able to implement it from May at the earliest.
If the system works well, travelers to Hawaii are expecting (hoping) to triple by the fall.
Currently, it is said that we (healthy 16-64 years old) in Hawaii can be vaccinated probably in the summer. To be honest, there are still some fears and doubts about early vaccination, but it seems that it will be difficult to travel without vaccination.

Aloha! At our Honolulu office, we may be up to Tier 3 (*) than yesterday afternoon! !! I was expecting a lot, but I couldn't hear the news yesterday, and it was announced that I will stay in the current Tier 2 until around 3/15.
The road to Tier 3 is still a long way off, but I would like to continue to tighten my mind so that it does not go back.
