Today is boat operation test day!
The "Hagantasi" of Saipan Sea Cruise, which I used to take care of, is preparing to start in late June.
There is no problem with berthing and operation! In the future, we plan to enter the final work such as painting the roof.
The Hagantasi is the largest boat among the Managaha Island transfer boats, with a capacity of 145 people.
The operating speed is not as fast as a speedboat, but it was a very stable and comfortable cruise.
At Tasi Tours, we plan to increase the number of operations at the timing of this boat change.
We can guide more customers to Managaha Island.

United Airlines was suspended for a while due to Typhoon Mahwah...

I also went to the airport for the first time in a while and guided the arriving customers.
I heard that it was almost full, including group customers.
Four buses of Tasi Tours were dispatched on this day.

Typhoon No. 2 has passed through the nearby sea, and the wind has weakened considerably since this afternoon.
Saipan did not suffer much damage.
(I heard that Guam suffered quite a lot of damage, and I hope that it will be restored as soon as possible.)
Today, I went to check whether vehicles can safely come and go, such as access to the airport, northern sightseeing spots, and the mountain road to Mt. Tapochao.
Fortunately, there were no large fallen trees, and there were some spots where dirt was conspicuous, but it was not enough to block the passage of vehicles.
All that's left now is to wait for the flight to reunite.

Typhoon No. 2 (Mawah) is approaching, so we are preparing for the passage of the typhoon for the ships anchored at the port.

Slowly, it seems to pass a little farther south than originally planned, but we can't let our guard down.

Today, I went to Coral Ocean Resort with my important business partner.
It felt like half work and half private, so we each ordered a glass of draft beer!
It was a very pleasant pool bar with a pleasant breeze blowing.
(I didn't see a single other customer...)
In fact, this Coral Ocean Resort has a past that was destroyed by a typhoon in 2018.
After that, with the efforts of the owner and others, the guest rooms, the front lobby and the resort pool were renovated,
It has been reborn as a hotel with a very tropical feel.
The recommended point is that you can see the view of Tinian Island from here and the planes coming down to the airport up close.
(Slightly off topic, but it seems that a typhoon is approaching Saipan right now...I'm super worried...)

A new cafe opened in the townhouse shopping center in Chalan Kanoa yesterday.
I went to "De' Cafree Coffee Roasters".
This cafe just opened on April 29th, and it was shiny inside.
I ordered Cafe Latte Hot, and my friend ordered Cafe Latte Hot and iced coffee.
There are also simple snacks!
(I didn't eat it this time, but it felt like a cafe latte or a cappuccino...)

This hotel is a luxury resort hotel in the northern part of Saipan.
Surrounded by rich nature, the beach in front of the hotel may be the cleanest among the beaches attached to the hotel.
