Travel Voice"Taiwanese tea"
Taiwan has the Central Mountain Range in the north and south, and the high altitude is cool, and the temperature difference causes fog, making it a suitable environment for tea cultivation. Taiwanese tea is famous as a delicious tea with excellent technology.
There are many types of Taiwanese tea! There are various types such as Dongfang meiren tea, Dong Ding oolong tea, and high-mountain tea.
Dongfang meiren ** It features a sweetness like honey and a fascinating scent like flowers. Queen Elizabeth of England liked it and was named "Oriental Beauty".
Dong Ding Oolong Tea ** Features a refreshing drink and a refreshing aftertaste.
High-mountain tea ** Tea cultivated above 1000m above sea level. Tea cultivated in the mountains of various parts of Taiwan has different tastes depending on the soil, climate, etc. Among them, Alishan Takayama tea is characterized by a gentle scent like flowers and a sweet finish.
Delivery from Taiwan to Japan is also possible!
Please enjoy a special tea time while thinking about Taiwan.

October 1st was the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th of the lunar calendar.
In Taiwan, it is customary to have a barbecue during the Mid-Autumn Festival, so
I often see Taiwanese people enjoying barbecue on the roadside.
Mid-Autumn Festival is also a day of gathering, and you can spend a happy time with your family and friends while loving the moon.

Good luck! Finemakers.
For about 50 years after the National Government of the Republic of China moved to Taiwan in 1949, the remote island of Taiwan, Kinmen, was at the forefront of the battle with China, where military forces clash across both banks of the Taiwan Strait.
During the wartime system, Kinmon was jointly prepared by the military and civilians. Military defense works and camouflage facilities such as the anti-aircraft position located in the center of the road that still remains, the vast underground battlefield fort, and the rail fort on the coast tell the history of the former battlefield.
Everyone who visits Kinmen strongly prays for future world peace.
"Sun Moon Lake"
The Sun Moon Lake Crossing Swimming Tournament was held on the weekend, and Naruwanto staff also participated!
This tournament started in 1987 and has been held every year around the Mid-Autumn Festival (August 15th of the lunar calendar).
The course is about 3300 meters and takes 2.5 to 3 hours. About 20,000 people participated this time.
It is a rare event in Taiwan. If you have physical strength, please try it next time.

"Miei Kakinomochi Educational Farm"
Taiwan is finally beginning to feel the signs of autumn.
There is a place in Hsinchu where you can see the sun-dried dried persimmons. In Japan, I often see them hanging and drying, but they are all hung side by side and dried. Many tourists come to see this scene during this time.
Jimmy's Super Moon at Aotan last year 🌙 Popular 👍. This year is just the 10th anniversary of New Taipei City! Jimmy's moon also transforms into a cake ver. I came to celebrate with a 15-meter moon cake, a bear 🐻, and a small rabbit 🐰. Exhibition period 9 / 28-12 / 31, there is a light at night, it will be more healing. 🥰

Mid-Autumn in Taiwan is a very important festival except for the Chinese New Year (Chinese New Year in Taiwan).
Taiwanese attach great importance to the Mid-Autumn Festival, and on this day they eat yakiniku (barbecue) with family and friends, and eat mooncakes and pomelo (yuzu).
The round full moon is considered to be a symbol of the family, so the mooncakes with similar shapes are the symbols of peace and pomelo.
Yakiniku was triggered a long time ago (around 1986) by two yakiniku sauce makers that advertised yakiniku sauce extensively during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Supermarkets and other stores have launched barbecue sets accordingly. Since all the family members and relatives get together, it is thought that one of the reasons why it has become established is that it was perfect for everyone to eat yakiniku.
Bread is eaten by sandwiching it with indispensable ingredients.
By the way, in Japan, it is said that the pattern of the moon looks like a rabbit sticking rice cake on the moon, but in Taiwan, it is said that the rabbit makes medicine on the moon.
I hope you can see the beautiful moon.
Although the daytime heat in Taipei is still severe,
The number of days when I feel cool in the morning and evening has increased.
And the air was so clear that
I took a night view of Taipei from New Taipei City.
The round light around the center is Taipei 101.
There are about 3 months left until the end of 2020.
New Year's Eve fireworks and countdown in Taipei 101, etc.
Will it be held this year?
First of all, during the Mid-Autumn Festival on October 1st (8/15 lunar calendar) this week, while loving the full moon,
I would like to enjoy BBQ (barbecue) that is not moon cake.

Wutai, an indigenous village, is located on the mountain north of Pingtung in southern Taiwan.
Wutai is a village where about 12,000 indigenous people, mainly the Rukai, live. The village is not very large, but it is known as a popular tourist destination in Pingtung.
At Kiridai, Aiyu Jelly and Awa Donuts are especially popular.
Aitamako is a traditional Taiwanese dessert that can be eaten anywhere, but it is said that the most suitable environment for the plants that make up Aitamako is a mountain that is about the height of a fog stand, and fresh water taken from the mountain is also available. In addition, the texture is different from that of Aitamako, which I ate in the city. Moreover, even if you choose two types of toppings, it costs about 150 yen, which is a cheap price that you can't think of as a tourist destination.
Another sweet that can only be eaten in indigenous villages is Xiaomi Donut. Generally speaking, the staple food of Taiwanese is rice, but for the indigenous people, the staple food is small rice (foxtail millet). Donuts made from foxtail millet have a more chewy texture than ordinary donuts, and it feels like you are eating mochi. Moreover, the locally fried food is not greasy at all, and the texture of the skin is very good.
There are other tourist destinations such as Taiwan's tallest bridge and stone churches, which are nearly 100 meters high.
Please come and visit us when you go sightseeing in the south.
