Typhoon No. 15 (Bolaven) is expected to make its closest approach today, October 10th, around 16:00.
It appears to be passing between Tinian Island and Rota.
It's probably calm before the typhoon, as there are some sunny days and the wind isn't that strong.
I recently went to Outer Cove to see what was going on.
Managaha Island looks a bit sad and lonely.
And to my surprise, the Jambalaya was half sunk. why?
(This was not caused by the typhoon. It had been abandoned for about 3 years, so I wonder if it was due to aging and water flooded through the bottom of the ship, causing it to sink half of the way...)
Also, most of the ships took shelter in Smiling Cove in the cove in preparation for the typhoon.
I just hope it doesn't cause major damage.

First of all, I went to Laulau Bay Golf Resort for the first time in a while!
The scenery was as dynamic as ever (come to think of it, I haven't played golf in a while...)

Asami Kumakiri and Kenichi Ogura (Ogune) took a direct flight from Japan to Saipan, a three-and-a-half hour trip overseas. You can relax at any of the beaches in Mariana, but the most recommended is Rota Island!
Rota, which can be reached in about 30 minutes from Saipan by small plane, is an island with a lot of untouched nature.
Te Teto Beach, the most famous beach on the island, has thatched roof cabanas lined up on the deep blue sea and white sand, giving it the image of a ``southern island'' that everyone imagines.

Sabal Farmer's Market is the best morning activity when traveling to Saipan!
The market is held every Saturday, and there are a variety of stalls selling fresh vegetables and fruits grown by local people, as well as food, sweets, and daily necessities.
There are shops where you can not only see but also eat tropical fruits, and the most popular among them is the easy-to-drink juices!
TUPU CANE JUICE's raw sugarcane juice, made by cold-pressing sugarcane harvested in Saipan using a special juicer, is gaining popularity among locals.
It's fun just to watch the long, slender sugarcane being sucked into a special machine, and you'll look forward to drinking the resulting juice.

I probably went snorkeling at the western point for the last time this season.

The Maya Monument, located near the pier, has been changed to a notice of precautions on the island at the request of Mariana Global (the new concessionaire). I feel a little lonely. .
