On October 1, the Northern Mariana Government announced that three new coronavirus-infected persons had been identified. The infected person is a traveler from outside the island and has been quarantined in a government-designated facility as a result of a test conducted upon arrival at the airport. As a result, the total number of infected people in the Northern Mariana Islands has reached 73.
